Rules

So 4Blocks stays fair, immersive and safe for everyone. In short: play your role, be fair, respect others.

01. General

  1. By joining the server you accept these rules. Not knowing them does not protect you from consequences.
  2. Treat everyone with respect. Insults, racism, sexism, discrimination and bullying are not allowed.
  3. Follow staff instructions. If you disagree, open a ticket instead of arguing in game.
  4. One account per person. Account sharing and dodging punishments (ban evasion) are not allowed.
  5. The roleplay server speaks German. Our other games are in English and German.

02. Roleplay basics

  1. Stay in character, even when things get tough.
  2. Keep character and player apart. Knowledge from streams, Discord or other characters stays out of the game (no metagaming).
  3. No powergaming. Never force actions on others and always give them a fair chance to react.
  4. Value your life. Act as if you are really afraid for it.
  5. Keep your roleplay believable. No trolling that ruins the fun for others.

03. Violence, death and combat

  1. No killing or attacking without a roleplay reason (RDM).
  2. Vehicles are not weapons. Running people over on purpose is not allowed (VDM).
  3. After you die, you forget your old life and how you died. Do not go straight back to the scene (new life rule).
  4. Logging out during roleplay or a fight to avoid consequences is punished (combat logging).
  5. Safe zones like spawn, public offices and the hospital are free of violence.
  6. Safe zones are not a hideout. Running into one during a chase, fight or ongoing roleplay to avoid consequences is punished. The scene is finished outside the safe zone.
  7. Give injured players a chance at first aid and roleplay instead of finishing them right away.

04. Robberies

  1. A robbery always needs a real roleplay reason. Robbing other players for no reason is not allowed.
  2. Wanting to rob someone is not a reason. Loot, boredom or "he looked rich" do not count.
  3. Good reasons are for example a provocation, a feud or an open score, an ongoing conflict or a story that leads to it.
  4. The reason has to exist before the robbery and make sense. Build the scene with roleplay instead of pulling a gun right away.
  5. The same applies to hostage taking and stealing other people's property.
  6. If staff asks, you must be able to explain your reason. If you cannot, you broke this rule.

05. Factions and conflicts

  1. Conflicts between factions need a reason and a clean build up. No wars for no reason.
  2. Provoking officers for no reason (cop baiting) is not allowed.
  3. Robberies, hostage situations and conflicts always come with good roleplay, never as plain PvP.
  4. Respect the processes and ranks of each faction.

06. Communication

  1. Proximity voice chat is required. Talk to the people around you in character.
  2. No out of character talk during ongoing roleplay. Sort those things out through support.
  3. No spam, no ads and no links to other servers.
  4. Keep it clean. Real insults are never okay, not even in roleplay.

07. Names and character

  1. Use a realistic roleplay name with first and last name. No fantasy, celebrity or offensive names.
  2. Your character has a believable story. Do not keep rewriting it to avoid consequences.

08. Economy and fair play

  1. Cheats, hacks, macros and exploits are strictly forbidden.
  2. Do not use bugs or dupes. Report any bug you find to the team right away.
  3. No trading real money for in game value, accounts or items outside the official store.
  4. Scamming is only allowed inside clean roleplay, never as a real scam.

09. Store and purchases

  1. Store purchases support the server and never give an unfair advantage in game.
  2. Anyone who reverses a payment (chargeback) is removed from the server.

10. Reports and support

  1. Report rule breaks, problems and bugs through the report and ticket system, ideally with a clip or screenshot.
  2. No vigilante justice out of character. Let staff decide and finish the scene in roleplay.

11. Consequences

  1. Breaking rules is punished depending on how serious it is: warning, mute, kick, temporary ban, permanent ban.
  2. Serious cases like cheating, ban evasion or real threats lead to an instant permanent ban.
  3. Staff looks at every case on its own and decides in the interest of the server.
